A unique approach for EveryBody
Yoga is a state of being, beauty and grace, a path to becoming whole. It is an invitation to the whole being to release patterns of tension and stress and to experience freedom.
This gentle, non forcing approach to yoga is accessible to people in varying degrees of health, fitness, age and experience. In these classes as we invite the body to open into the asana (posture) and come to a place of attention, clear focus, and concentration. Tensions begin to release naturally and give way to a new flexibility. We come in touch with the breath and the movement of the spine, restoring health, vitality and energy to our lives. We open energetic pathways allowing us to move into the asana with ease, and develop greater body awareness, gaining balance, strength, vitality and flexibility. We learn how to release stress and tension and find relaxation. Before we realize it, Yoga touches every part of our lives, helping us live with ease and well-being.
My role as a teacher is to guide each individual through this process, using personal adjustments and supporting each body where it is on this day on the journey to opening.
It is not what you do but how you do it.
